Hello, I'm Crista - the owner and heart behind the Nude Custom Spray Tanning.

This business is deeply personal. It was born from one of the hardest times in my life - facing infertility and struggling with my mental health. Spray Tanning became my small act of self - care, the moment I could look in the mirror and start to rebuild. I had to be real, raw and completely Nude - and that's where my brand began.

When I felt, confident, I felt beautiful - and that's how "Confidence is Beautiful" was born. My mission is to give others that same feeling: a calm, luxury experience where you can leave life's challenges at the door and walk out feeling grounded, empowered and authentically you.

From snacks to water, custom tanning stickers to the little things you may forget (I never fail to forget a ponytail!), she has it all! Crista takes the time to ensure you are comfortable and walks through every step of the spray tan, pays so much attention to every little detail of your tan and makes sure you look flawless before you are done! I’ve gone to several spray tan artists throughout the years, but none compare to the experiences I’ve had at Nude Custom Spray Tanning!

Crista is AMAZING!!! I’m originally from Jersey and have been looking for a person who does custom spray tans for 8months since I moved to Sioux Falls. Things I loved about Crista… *her website give you the exact details on what to do prior to getting sprayed and after. (And it’s all correct!) Being an experience spray tans person the little things an exfoliation helps with your tan. And she spells it out for you. *being comfortably nude in front of a stranger. Grant it since I’ve done this so many times I don’t necessarily get shy anymore but the ease of her saying do what you feel comfortable with is amazing. I’m also not the tiniest human and have psoriasis. And there was just no judgement for it. * she truly cares about the outcome. She asks for feedback one the tan fully develops. And is willing to fix things if it’s not what you wanted (obv within reason) *and one of my fav things. Is her personality!! Nothing is more awkward than you standing nude while someone sprays you and there is no convo going on. Crista had music going and the conversation following. This is HUGE. *lastly the tan came out BEAUTIFULLY! If there were a 100 stars to give I would. Thank you Crista for making me feel like me again with a tan. Thank you for great conversation. You have me as a customer forever now!

I've been to tanning salons across the country when I'm feeling dry on the fly. But it's nice to know when I'm home I can depend on the right place to cover all my extra bases.
